There are several student leadership opportunities in the ministry:

Home Group leaders

Each Home Group is led by one guy and one girl. These leaders are responsible for guiding Bible study and discussion, giving overall leadership and direction to the group, and shepherding the group. find out more about Home Groups here.

Lead team student leaders

Each lead team is headed up by an adult leader and 1 or more student leaders. These leaders help lead and give direction to the rest of the team. Find out more about Lead Teams here.

Leadership team

There are a few student spots on the ministry leadership team. These students are included in overall planning and vision for the ministry. In addition to providing a student perspective to the overall vision and planning, these students are expected to participate in and help lead the rest of the ministry.

All student leaders are expected to fulfill the responsibilities of serving in their particular role as well as attend leadership meetings and do the extra things necessary to see the ministry function effectively.

The expectations for serving in leadership areas are higher than serving on a lead team. If you are interested in a leadership position you can pursue that in one of two ways. You can either talk to one of our adult leaders about your desire to lead in a particular area or you can grab a lead team interest card from the college info table, write on it what area of leadership you are interested in, and turn it in to one of our adult leaders.
