2) March Madness is about to begin. Get your bracket in before games start to get into our little contest. Talk some trash to your friends. Pick by favorite teams, matchup insights, favorite colors, or favorite mascots. Doesn’t matter how you pick, and all are welcome.
The podcast has not been up the last few weeks, and we apologize for that. We have had some technical difficulty with the recording equipment, but it should be resolved now, and the podcast should be back up and running this week as we continue our series in Colossians.
We have finished with our series on the book of Ephesians, but podcasts from tenthirty on Sunday mornings are still going up.
This summer we will be using Thursday Bible study to further unpack, discuss, and wrestle with the passage and topic from tenthirty that week. The podcasts will go up as fast as we can get them up, hopefully always before Thursday, so listen to the podcast if you missed or just as a refresher before Thursday.
And if you feel real motivated you can listen back through the Ephesians series and study that again.
There will be no Home Groups tonight, Thursday, February 11th.
Please help us spread the word by contacting others in your group. We will meet for tenthirty this Sunday, assuming this blizzard passes us by, and Home Groups will resume next week.

My brother Brennen left on his bicycle last September for the streets. He prayed and fasted about this during the summer along with our family. He has been in Houston since then.
He slept where he could: bench, alley, park, under a bridge. He got run off of some places by police, never actually finding a permanent spot for his body to rest. He’s got some stories that he will have to share when he drops by again.
For a little while, Brennen has been staying with a Christian family who lives in Katy. They minister to the homeless a few times each week and he is directly involved with that. He is using this as a time for prayer and spiritual development as he prays for direction.
I just wanted to let people know this, I have been asked by a number of people at church what he is doing. This is obviously very basic info since late Sept and I wanted to encourage y’all to check out his blog
http://theperplextive.blogspot.com/ for updates and the opportunity to post comments to buck him up.
I, along with the rest of the Cody family, got see him over the holidays. Pray for:

- discernment as he seeks direction
- the ability to let the Spirit lead
- to know the Word
All of the podcasts we have been holding in storage while the website was being built are now up. The three most recent ones will always appear on the homepage and the sidebar of most pages, but check the archive for all of the past podcast messages.
You can also subscribe to the podcast on iTunes. Search for Hillcrest College Ministry.
As new messages are preached and taught they will be added to the podcast, so subscribing is the best way to keep up to date. You can also listen to messages online.
Just so everyone knows, the blog is up and running. Check here often for all kinds of new things: thoughts, articles, links, funny stories, videos, pictures, and whatever else. This will be a place to interact with the leadership and with each other. Please comment and let everyone know what your thoughts are, and give us ideas on what you want to see here.
Happy blogging!
